Joel Stephens was called as Pastor of the
Kila Country Church in 2004. With his wife Peggy,
they have two boys and two girls. They also have
six grandchildren who are frequent visitors to their
home.
Pastor Joel has been in ministry for over ten
years. Seven of those years were spent planting
a Cowboy Church in Las Vegas, Nevada (the
Country Western Church of Las Vegas), where he lived for forty years. Before God called him into the ministry, Pastor Joel worked many different trades, when he was not on the road pursuing his life dream of Professional Rodeo. Along with his love of rodeo and horses, he grew up with a love for the outdoor life of fishing and hunting.
He is very grateful that God has allowed him and his wife to be part of Kila Country Church. God has given him a great desire to serve, not just the church, but also the people in and around Kila, Montana.
